On 9 to 12 Ausust, Coordinators of all CBA Regional Implementation Units gathered in the suburbs of Kyiv for the special training on CBA-II implementation.

The training was attended by Olivier Adam, UNDP Resident Representative and Tetyana Matiychyk, Coordinator of CBA from the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Methodology of CBA-II implementation was presented by the management, with the particular emphasis on new components: (1) economic development through support of agricultural / service cooperatives and (2) implementation of larger-scale projects on alternative or / renewable energy sources. The Project team also discussed the strategy of support to further replication of community based approach in non-pilot areas.

Regional coordinators were presented the latest trends in knowledge management and approaches to communicating the results of CBA work. In particular, emphasis will be made on real-time communication and using the social networks for dissemination of information about the results and impact of partners’ activities.
