The first stage of CBA-II implementation - official launchings of the Project in each region - was completed within 1 month, from 22 June to 22 July 2011. Regional seminars were held in each oblast and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in order to present modality of CBA-II and sign partnership agreements between UNDP Ukraine, oblast state admionistrations and oblast councils.
15 regional seminars were held in participation of Governors and Heads of oblast councils (or their deputies), representatives of UNDP Ukraine and management of CBA Project. Leadership of all rayons were invited to participate in the launching seminars to learn about patterns of cooperation.
23 Partnership Agreements on CBA-II implementation were signed between UNDP, oblast state administrations and oblast councils. In each region, competition for participation in CBA-II was announced. Rayons willing to become pilots of CBA-II should apply to Oblast implementation unit before the deadline (indicated below).
